Snaefellsnes, Iceland

In November of 2018, my family spent 5 days on the Snaefellnes Peninsula in eastern Western Iceland. This territory is famous as being the place where Jules Verne had his adventurers in Journey to the Center of the Earth, start their voyage to the earth’s core. It is also viewed by many people as being a “spiritual” place and some even consider that it has some sort of power associated with it. What I found was a beautiful environment sporting mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, fjords, fishing villages and the famous Northern Lights. All photos © 2018 Daniel Weber.
