My Photographic Philosophy
My grandfather bought me my first camera in high school, and ever since I have been trying to capture the world, both near and far, through a lens. The title of this website, Light, Lens, Photo represents the process that creates a photo, either via the old school method of film (like I learned in school) or with a modern digital sensor. But to be honest, all good photographs are born in the minds of the person operating the camera. The image is captured in the brain, before it ever reaches a camera. The delicate balance between light reflecting off a subject and falling onto a sensor is skillfully managed by a creative visionary artist. Photography is an art form, no matter how it is presented. I hope that the images you experience here will touch your heart and thrill your soul.
