Thoughts From Behind The Camera

Panoramas

One of the unique features of Adobe Lightroom is the ability to merge together a series of photos to create a panorama photograph. This is relative easy if photographed the proper way.

Here are a few examples of photos that I have created using this technique.

All of these images were taken using traditional digital cameras, but when I took the photos I made sure to keep the horizon as level as possible and try to shoot about 5-7 images that will cover the radius of your photo. Don't try to photograph an area that is more than 180 degrees of coverage. It also helps to set your camera to the auto function so that the exposure will be consistent throughout the sequence.
